Quite a decent maiden for the track to start things off but this looks very tricky and the market should prove a helpful selection tool but hopefully SUPERIOR EDGE can go in ahead of Force To Spend and Special Quality. The selection ran a cracker on debut after a lengthy break to be beaten a neck in a very average maiden. He was beaten by a 100-1 shot but did finish in front of the 4-9 who has a rating of 73. The form is hard to weigh up but finishing in front of the favourite is encouraging. Force To Spend bellied her odds of 25-1 to finish close up behind an 82 rated rival on his only start to date. That was a decent debut run and should improve for the experience. Special Quality ran third on his latest start behind a promising type and looks the sort to win a maiden. Marju's Reward ran behind a classy horse on debut but takes a huge drop in trip which is a concern. Others to note are the expensive and well bred colt from the Noseda yard, Gold Gleam but Superior Edge just has the edge.
