    Verdict

INTERVENTION has been winning apprentices’ races and is due to be raised 12lb after this. He’s difficult to oppose despite the step up in class. The Cola Kid is penalised 5lb for winning at Newcastle earlier in the week while Bobby On The Beat scored at Lingfield in January with both Water Of Leith and Igotatext behind and the latter has subsequently gone close at the same track. Martineo and Nubough won their penultimate starts with the latter preferred back over today’s trip.
