Verdict

Mon Frere won two of four starts over hurdles last year and returns to the Flat on his first outing since October. Pallas Dancer bids for a hat-trick on his return from a three-month lay-off raised 3lb for winning at Wolverhampton while Kasperenko remains 7lb higher than when scoring at York last autumn. The progressive WISE EAGLE (NAP) notched-up five wins on the Flat last term and wasn’t beaten far when fourth in a higher grade contest over track and trip on his reappearance. He gets the vote with both Benadalid and Annandale returning to action.
