    Verdict

Jacks Grey was awarded a Worcester handicap last time after being cannoned into by first-past-the-post Tuscan Gold, despite being eventually beaten three lengths. He's been raised 6lb as a result but looks a prime contender for a yard that has been in fine form in the new season. Taigan seems to love Southwell but has gone up a stone for two recent course victories though, with only seven runs over hurdles under his belt, it would hardly surprise if there was more left in the locker. DEFINITE RUBY gained a deserved success at Fontwell last time and is chosen to score once again in the belief that this step back up to two and a half miles will be very much in her favour.
