Verdict

This should not take much winning and while Blue Empire has to be respected in such a poor race having run creditably here last time, it is hard to get away from Davidia, who gets the vote over Chris Corsa. The last mentioned has been off the track for some time but has slipped to an attractive mark as a result so has to be respected in such a poor contest. Stepaside is hard to back with any confidence on recent evidence, while By Storm is held by the selection on running last time. The selection is Davidia, who has been running well in sellers of late and while this is theoretically a better race in reality it is no better than a seller so Davidia is taken to gain an overdue success.
