The four-year-old OVERTURES looked a youngster to follow when runner-up at Downpatrick as he would have finished much closer with the run of the race. He'll need to brush up his jumping but it will be a surprise if he doesn't turn out to be much better than a 99-rated handicapper. Sunchyme showed his first sign of form over timber when runner-up to Ah Littleluck at Cork and the winner could boost his chances with a good run earlier. Sounds Of Thunder has returned from a spell over fences in decent form while Sean Airgead has also been chasing and can race from a 7lb lower mark over timber. The Mad Well hasn't won since March of last year but has dropped in the weights accordingly while Barry Geraghty was on board Happy As Larry when he finished a very good third at Punchestown in October and any money for the J P McManus-owned six-year-old should be duly noted.
