In depth

Verdict

Menwaal was runner-up off this mark at Wexford in March but C&D winner BEAN CHROI BHRISTE should strip fitter for his reappearance at Ballinrobe and can reverse that form with On The Loose, who was well beaten on the Flat at Wexford last Friday. The top weight gets a tentative vote with most of his rivals having something to prove now. South Wing has ability but isn't easy to predict while Take A Shot was sent off favourite at Naas last time, though didn't run up to his mark. Spring Wine is a pound lower than when second at Downpatrick in March but hasn't reproduced that form in three subsequent runs.
