In depth

Verdict

Clare Glen was sent to Chepstow for a modest handicap last month and though she looked to be struggling for much of the race she produced a power-packed finish to eventual gain a convincing success. Whether she can repeat that effort from 11lbs higher is debatable but she will enjoy the softish conditions. The three-year-old Knight Eagle has been running quite well but is probably a few pounds high at present while Frutti Tutti may need much more testing conditions to produce her best over this trip. CROWNING MOMEMT won't mind a little cut in the ground and came with a strong late run to score over 1m3f at Killarney last month. He couldn't quite reproduce that form under a penalty at the Curragh but this is a weaker event and he can return to winning ways.
