In depth

Verdict

Just four runners but all arrive in top form. IMMORTAL BRIDGE scored over 1m5f on fast going at Navan and though unable to handle Arya Tara over an extended 1m3f on heavy ground at Roscommon the winner went on to land a Listed contest next time. Landsman had only shown moderate form in his first campaign and didn't reappear until Navan last month where he beat the long odds-on Roibeard with ease in a three-runner race. My Brother was returning from a year off when arriving here in June and he could hardly have won more easily on the soft ground so he could be anything. The latter remark also applies to the filly Sea Swift, who landed a Naas maiden over a mile in June in the style of a very progressive type.
