In depth

Verdict

Winning hurdler and bumper Teach Nua was having her tenth start on the Flat when scoring at Galway and a 5lb penalty is unlikely to prevent a big run but she may struggle against DO THE BOSANOVA. Jim Bolger's filly has been hit with an incredible 16lb rise in the weights after her demolition job in an apprentice race at Leopardstown but was so impressive that the burden can be overcome. Swampfire must be a big threat as she has been contesting much better class events since her Limerick victory though some rain would aid her cause. Mountain Pride didn't handle his 8lb rise after scoring at Leopardstown and is up against it here.
