In depth

Verdict

AMIR PASHA will be having his 99th career start and has won nine times, including over this track and trip last time for which he's been raised 8lb - this should prove within his capabilities. Pindar has produced all of his best form on fast ground and won't have his conditions though he doesn't look badly treated. Ancient Times ran three times here in the spring, winning once and finishing runner-up twice, though all over a longer trip than this. Mrs Grass showed her first sign of ability at Hexham but she was beaten 18 lengths and High Hoylander is returning from a very long break, though he's 8lb lower than when narrowly beaten in a better race here two years ago.
