Verdict

Captain Sharpe made a surprise return to form here earlier in the month when beating Roxyfet, Gin Cobbler and Odds On Dan but may struggle to confirm that running with the trio off a 5lb higher mark. Seventeen Black has got nowhere near in three runs so far over fences but Bennylicious appears to be improving with experience and could take a hand in the finish dropped another 4lb. Brian Hughes keeps faith with ASUNCION, even though Rebecca Menzies' mare disappointed when favourite at Musselburgh last time. She'd earlier run well at the Scottish track and can't get much lower in the weights.
