In depth

Verdict

Blue Rambler was only beaten half-a-length over a longer trip at Musselburgh earlier this month and is getting closer. Despite pulling hard, Gwafa was fairly comfortable winner at Fakenham but will need to settle better here to defy his penalty. UNISON won four times on the Flat up to 1m2f and looked a useful recruit to hurdling at Wincanton, where he only had to be pushed out to score by six lengths. There should be more to come from Jeremy Scott's charge, who can double his tally. Bonne Question and Gone Viral will be interesting when tackling handicaps while heavy going may not have suited Ebadani at Exeter. Persian Breeze was a maiden on the level but is the type to thrive now going jumping.
