In depth

Verdict

Point-to-point winner DARK MOON made his debut over regulation fences at Wetherby a fortnight ago and went very close in one of these events. He can go one better today and confirm running with third placed John Dillon in the process as the latter has five lengths to make up. Montauk Highway finished third under today's amateur at Kelso on his penultimate start and can figure with a similar effort while Trifollet has to come into the reckoning as she won in similar company at Leicester earlier this year.
