In depth

Verdict

Accordingtoscript is the obvious one here as he won easily at Carlisle two runs ago and followed up by seven lengths over course and distance last month. But he has gone up 10lb and this is a slightly better race with Silver Shuffle and Dumbarton often thereabouts. Amir Pasha has been placed over course and distance recently and probably found 2m1f too sharp last time but Rock Relief hasn't been firing. LIGHT THE CITY hasn't raced since March but had a generally progressive profile over hurdles and on the all-weather at the start of the year and, with the ground in his favour, is worth another try over longer trips this winter.
