In depth

Verdict

BEACON LADY was a decent handicapper on the Flat for Bill Knight, winning eight times and rated much higher on the level than Conserve and Noor Al Haya. She gets the nod to make a winning start over hurdles for Venetia Williams. A Doll In Milan has finished second in a point-to-point and Dancing Solo ran well for a long way in a bumper at Worcester last month. Pandorica was well beaten on her debut over timber but Augusta Bay is related to a hurdles winner and is worth noting.
