In depth

Verdict

SON OF FLICKA is the pick with Karmadice and The Panama Kid as the alternatives. A useful sort in bumpers, Son Of Flicka was perhaps unfortunate to run up against a decent type in Doeslessthanme last time out and while this looks competitive, he can deliver for a yard that are just coming into form. Karmadice was a rare first time out winner for Sue Smith. Connections are wasting no further time in bumpers. The Panama Kid should be fit enough having had a busy summer. Malcolm Jefferson's team are always respected at this level. Poseidon did not help himself at Musselburgh with a number of novicey errors. Port Erne is re-routed to this engagement having been set to return at Market Rasen last Sunday. Gavroche Again was not unduly troubled on debut and can be expected to have improved. Lets Go Girls looked a useful prospect when obliging at Kelso in a bumper though she has questions to answer after a couple of poor runs since. Son Of Flicka is our call in the opener.
