In depth

Verdict

Aperitif,Cape Greko and Cash Flow look the three to concentrate on here and the nomination is given to Aperitif. The selection was a fair second on his hurdling debut behind Cottingham. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and with improvement likely under similar conditions here he is hard to oppose. Cape Greko rates the main danger on his latest third behind Rood Report. The booking of Tony McCoy catches the eye. However he barley sees out the trip and is taken on with this in mind. Cash Flow won well last time out when beating Sir Quigley but this looks more competitive and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Notre Cyborg has had plenty of chances and looks vulnerable to a less exposed type. Major Title is from a top Irish yard and should be watched in the market but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time . Aperitif looks sure to improve and he looks the one to be on.
