In depth

Verdict

KINKEEL was impressive enough in victory last time to suggest he can go in again so we'll give him the selection in preference to fellow last time out scorer Pistol Basc and the consistent Rexmehead. Nine lengths was the margin of victory the pick got up by last time but although he's not been the most consistent in the past he's mark rise looks lenient and he's looks well worth another try at this trip. Pistol Basc only just scrapped home last time but that run was capping a consistent run of form. On some of his old runs he can go well on his new mark and he remains a live contender. Rexmehead does his best work in selling company but now down to a rating he previous missed out by less than a length off of he should be a leading protagonists. Seven Is Lucky makes the list after a better run last time but at present it looks as though he's in the grip of the assessor so we instead go for Kinkeel to follow up.
