In a very poor looking handicap hurdle Cosmetic hasn't exactly pulled up any trees in three novice runs but should be capable of better so is left on the list, however, we prefer LINDSEYFIELD LODGE now he's switch back to hurdles with Pay On holding place claims. Having fallen on his last two chase starts connections revert the pick back to the medium where he has been solid the last twice. On his return to timber he is rated the same as when finding just one too good in December and with this looking easier he gets the call. Cosmetic has been well held in three novice starts so far but from a powerful yard he should be better than he's shown and any market support for him would be very interesting. Pay On is a consistent type and should get involved off his current mark so looks the value each-way play while Overbranch and Baron Watlass are more than capable on a going day and remain of interest but in a truly tricky race to call Lindseyfield Lodge has less negatives than the rest
