In depth

Verdict

Echo Express has changed stables since winning at Carlisle in March. Adelphi Prince was improving in the spring but has been raised 5lb for finishing second here when last seen. Kisumu, also runner-up on his latest start at Wetherby, is now 0-26 over hurdles and hasn’t managed a win in 44 career starts. JOIE DE VIVRE was no match for Swaffham Bulbeck, who runs earlier on the card, here last week but this contest has little depth and he is less exposed than most.
