Verdict

A competitive opener but no surprise to see HAWRIDGE FLYER turned out relatively quickly again after last week’s close second at Newmarket as he’ll be going up in the weights next week. Follow Intello wasn’t beaten far in this last year and is 5lb lower with first-time blinkers applied. Billy No Mates has only raced over this trip once before but prefers quicker ground while Repetitio was raised 3lb after finishing second over course and distance in July and couldn’t cope at Ripon. Trumpet Man was beaten 10 lengths when second over this trip at Catterick so Queen Of Camelot may be the best of the three-year-olds.
