Verdict

Mizen Raven and Cantgeton would both want better ground than this to stand a realistic chance here and MISS PROSS is the one for us, while Stagecoach Amber and Justwhateverulike are alternatives. The selection loves it here, with three of her four wins coming over course and distance. None of those have come on ground this testing, but two of them were on soft and so there is hope that she will be able to get through this well enough to put her ability to good use and win again from what is a competitive mark. Stagecoach Amber's only success came on fast ground but he too handles it soft and should get heavily involved over a track that suits. Justwhateverulike is 5lbs better off with Stagecoach Amber on their running here in December and should therefore be capable of reversing placings, although that is no done deal. Either way, that pair can probably follow home our pick Miss Pross.
