In depth

Verdict

Avebury had shaped encouragingly in similar company before running out a convincing winner over this course and distance last month. The six-year-old is open to plenty of progress and is the TEAMtalk selection to defy a 7lb penalty and confirm placings with Royal Wanderer who was beaten just under seven lengths in third. Irish raider, Zaffaran In Eden, will relish the conditions and showed plenty of promise on her Downpatrick debut so rates the obvious danger.
