Verdict

The only filly in the field, Lady Mcnair has been well placed to win three minor events, but while she is a progressive filly, she has more to do here than when winning a nursery of a mark of 82. Tycoon Hall, out of a mare that won over 12-furlongs, will stay every yard of this stiff mile and is certain to run well, while Royal Dignitary, who will be visored for the first time, will need to step up on his maiden win, if he is to trouble Rainwashed Gold. Amanda Perrett's charge, who is from the same family as the high class Tillerman, impressed when demolishing his rivals at Newmarket over this trip and while the bare form of that race is nothing special, it was the way he went about his business that caught the eye.
