Blue Azure, Enford Princess and Amica are three against the field in this trappy affair and the vote is given to Blue Azure. The selection will be suited by the step-up in trip after a pipe opener at Hamilton last time over an inadequate 5f. She will come on for that run and with conditions to suit is taken to score. Enford Princess ran well when second behind Roodeye last time out over 7f, but the step-up in trip looks against her as she faded close home. She will do well to give weight and a beating to the selection. Amica has dropped to a handy mark and hails from a shrewd yard so should be closely monitored in the market. But she has been tried over a variety of trips without success and is one to have reservations about. Of the remainder, Toffee Vodka is game and consistent and is sure to run her race but she looks to be in the grip of the handicapper and for the winner we will stick with Blue Azure.
