The Gaikwar has been threatening to win a race for some time and is taken to score here at the main expense of Song of Vala and Arry Dash. The selection has been second on four of his last five starts and he lost no caste in defeat last time when he was beaten by Bright Sun. He came up against a rival in good form that day and compensation should await for supporters who have stuck by The Gaikwar tonight. Song of Vala looks the main danger as he caught they eye when a good fourth behind Boundless Prospect at Newmarket. That was only his second run of the year and if he reproduces his latest effort then he will not be far away at the finish. Arry Dash did not get the clearest of runs at Brighton last time but he was still disappointing and he will need to improve on that run to get competitive today. Beauty of Dreams is better than she showed last time at Hamilton when she was well-beaten and she looks worth taking on, and for the winner we will return to The Gaikwar.
