    Verdict

Neebras had decent form as a two-year-old but didn't achieve much in winning a three-horse race at Newmarket earlier this month having been well beaten on his reappearance at the same track. Pausanias impressed when landing the European Free Handicap over 7f and is open to further improvement, however, though may find the concession of 5lb to TAZAHUM here beyond him. The latter's second to Dubawi Gold at Ascot in October has worked out well and the Australian-bred colt couldn't have been more impressive when quickening well to beat the useful Captain Bertie in a handicap over C&D last month - he's well worth a try in this higher grade. Fury was fifth in the 2000 Guineas so can't be ignored and he has the beating of Loving Spirit on that run.
