Verdict

Rock The Stars did well last year and went close over this trip on a couple of occasions. But he has been below par so far this season, including when favourite at Ffos Las three weeks ago. Archie Rice is probably better over further and also has a bit to prove after a shocking effort at Doncaster last time but Super Duplex should strip fitter for last month's fifth over a mile at this track and Potentiale is usually thereabouts and doesn't look badly treated, despite sharing top weight. CHAIN OF EVENTS has been put up 7lb for scoring at Newmarket but won with a deal of authority that day and should confirm the form with fourth Classically. Neil King's four-year-old looks to have improved over the winter and a follow up is on the cards.
