Verdict

Kempton winner SEEKING MAGIC went close over 6f at Newmarket last week despite having to be switched for a run on two occasions. He takes a fierce hold in his races but Clive Cox' charge should settle better today bowling along at a faster pace over this shorter trip. His form looks stronger than that of Windsor winner Pearl Blue, who also drops back to 5f for the first time, and Dreams Of Glory. The latter registered a hat-trick when scoring at Bath last time and may not have finished yet with an apprentice negating a 5lb rise, but Pippa's Gift and Dorothy's Dancing look up against it.
