Hallings Overture is narrowly preferred to Magic Warrior and River Gypsy. It is to be hoped that Hallings Overture's most recent run was not a flash in the pan as he certainly caught the eye when successful at Lingfield Park. Value for more than the winning margin suggests, he is scarcely bombproof in terms of a likelihood of following up but he nevertheless has options against a number of out-of-sorts performers. River Gypsy is an infrequent winner but is at least consistent. Mythical Charm would not be out of this if returning to something like his better form. A strongly run race would play to his strengths. Double Spectre continues to plummet down the weights without winning. Windy Prospect is watched upon application of first time blinkers. Hallings Overture gets the nod.
