Bertie Boru was fancied to run well here last month but was badly let down by his jumping. If he puts in a better round today he won’t be far away as he's undoubtedly well treated at present. Financial Climate beat MOSSPARK by less than a length in this last year and the latter is now 5lb better off. Emma Lavelle's charge is still a maiden over fences and has only run once this term but he should go close if fully wound-up. Relax has been running better than his form figures would suggest while Seebright could also bounce back at any time. Dawson City will probably run his usual game race but this is a much stronger heat than the one Benenden won at Musselburgh and the going may be too tacky for Desert Joe.
