Gwilym was second in this race three years ago from a similar mark and should go close again whilst Make My Dream won last year's renewal and is only 5lbs higher so also has to enter calculations in a typically competitive sprint. Folkestone specialist Luminous Gold and the admirable Matterofact arrive in good form whilst Silvanus has travelled noticeably well on the last couple of starts but enjoyed little luck in running and that could, again, be a problem. The tentative suggestion though is EVEN BOLDER who has run well over this course and distance the last twice. He could hardly be described as prolific but has been rated between 71 and 73 for three of his last four wins so is feasibly treated racing from 72 and is entitled to go well at an each-way price.
