Flegmatik made a winning start over fences at Carlisle and a 4lb rise is by no means excessive but SEVARANO (NAP), despite winning twice over hurdles, has always looked like a chaser in the making and could land this before going on to better things. Igor was a long way behind the selection when last seen over hurdles but Getareason had decent form in Ireland when trained by Willie Mullins, though hasn’t raced in 12 months. Salty Boy, another Irish import, is also having a first run for a new yard while Mahlervous has a bit to prove at present. Eragon De Chanay was beaten when falling at Plumpton.
