In depth

Verdict

Sweeping Rock is only 1-28 over hurdles but a recent second at Exeter looks decent form for a race like this and he only has one below him in the weights. The maiden CREMANT is preferred, however, with his latest third at Ludlow coming in a higher grade. Dan Gun is thrown in on his old form but has shown little this year and St Lawrence Gap has disappointed since arriving from Ireland. Phoenix Dawn’s second at Huntingdon last week came in a claimer but this isn’t much better.
