    Verdict

Almanack has been running well in patches for Mark Pattinson and trounced the field in a low-grade event at Salisbury, but this looks tougher and he hasn’t always been the most consistent performer,, so HONIARA might be a better option. He made all at Brighton last time and should be seen to even better effect over this longer trip. Imperial State has twice made the frame recently without ever looking like getting his head in front while Rattle On has failed to build on his win at Lingfield in the spring. Fashaak was beaten a long way at Yarmouth last time and is best watched for the time being, while Peak Storm has done nearly all his winning at Chepstow and has shown little in four outings this year.
