Verdict

Gang Warfare was well supported when scoring at Beverley and started odds-on a few days later at Doncaster but produced nothing when asked in the closing stages. Bold Appeal has had very little racing and wouldn't need to improve much on his close third here last time to take a hand. Bold Runner needs a strong gallop which he could get here and is just 2lb higher than his victory on Turf at Lingfield in May. BENBECULA is another who wants a strong pace and won over hurdles in the spring. He was in the lead at this trip when tackling 1m6f here last month and with just a 1lb rise to contend with Hayley Turner can steer him to victory. Cosette didn't stay two miles at Chepstow but has no problems with this trip and is slowly dropping in the ratings.
