Verdict

Bleu Astral showed moderate form for Richard Fahey and has been well beaten in both starts for new connections though he's still likely to prove better than stablemate Hoy Hoy, who has gone rapidly backwards since scoring at Chepstow last summer. It's difficult to split the Hannon pair Velociter and Jakodima though the latter may have a bit more scope while Dandys Perier produced an out-ot-the-blue victory at Chepstow after being beaten easily in two claimers. GUIDING LIGHT (NAP) scored at Chepstow last month then couldn't quite cope when stepped up in class at Chester. His overall form gives him the edge and his young rider is very good value for his claim.
