Verdict

Towy Boy may once more threaten to win before failing to do so as DICHOH gets the vote to land the last; Purus, Admirals Way and Easy Wonder are others to consider in a trappy affair. Our pick is thoroughly exposed and therefore hides nothing from the assessor but he's at least reliable and that counts for plenty in this type of affair. Not only that, he has the assistance of the more than capable Simon Walker in the plate and has won here, albeit over slightly further. Ground conditions suit and he should go close. Purus is another who makes more appeal than he perhaps might once one has looked at the jockey bookings. He's not won since 2007 but is thrown in on old form and has Joshua Moore is one of the more able pilots riding here and that alone could see him surprise a few. Admirals Way is a more solid proposition having taken a close second last time. That effort was at Southwell but his sole success came on similar ground to this at Yarmouth and a 3lb higher mark shouldn't prevent a bold show. Easy Wonder is a 22-race turf maiden but is in good enough heart to be considered for each-way players, Fine Silk hasn't yet won a race but is less exposed than most and should be suited by stepping back up in distance while Foxtrot Bravo is another yet to have scored and is confidently opposed as he looks to lack the gears for this trip. This is wide open but Dichoh is in good form, has a top pilot on board, and therefore gets the vote.
