In depth

Verdict

Oakbridge secures the selection ahead of River Of Babylon and Screwdriver. David Wintle is not a name you'd too readily associate with the flat but Oakbridge really caught the eye over course and distance last time out. A follow-up can be on the cards here. River Of Babylon put in a good run on soft going at Newmarket. Faster ground and small fields have proved a potent combination in the past and he should have claims on this occasion. Screwdriver got going late when chasing home The Coires over a mile. He could be vulnerable off a slow pace. Minority Report has a bit to find at these weights as does Outer Hebrides. Persian Rock is on a losing run of note. Oakbridge impressed the Salisbury punters last time and is worth chancing on this occasion also.
