The progressive SILCA MISTRESS won over today’s trip at Leicester before scoring over 6f at Goodwood last week. Clive Cox’ filly is taken to defy a further 5lb rise in this. Hesterya failed to threaten in novice company but may well improve now handicapping and is preferred to Great Shot Sam, a winner at Newcastle earlier and placed in handicaps since. Indiscretion has won twice over a mile on the all-weather and Eula Varner also drops back down in trip while Elation will need to step up on her recent efforts to figure.
