Verdict

Harlequin Striker showed the benefit of racecourse experience to finish second in a recent maiden over course and distance, but Richard Hughes's decision to hotfoot it across the country persuades us to oppose him with MISTERIOSO. Richard Hannon's colt would have to reverse the form of the aforementioned race, but as that was his debut and there appears a far likelier chance of improvement, we are prepared to offer him the opportunity. Moonadee shaped as if needing more time at Sandown and looks one to follow when stepped up over further. Big Chill will qualify for nurseries post this race and is noted accordingly whilst Eve Johnson-Houghton isn't noted for saddling too many precocious juveniles though Golden Wedding caught the eye on debut at Lingfield. Servery was far from cheap and could develop into a useful performer in time.
