    Verdict

Pigeon Point has shown a fair level of form in maidens and is ceratinly capable of winning one. She is the one to beat. However, Largo, who only beat two home in a maiden at Newmarket, certainly left the impression that she can do better. Hecuba, a half-sister to Group 3 winner Prolix and to useful staying handicapper Bangalore. She is sure to know her job and looks certain to run well, while Tuneful is a half-sister to Musical Score and runs here in preference to an engagement at Kempton later in the week.
