In depth

Verdict

A weak looking handicap with the weights headed by Levantine, who has his first outing in this country. He did manage to win a race for David Loder in France and if he retains any of that ability he must go close. Miss Damask is not straightforward and the main threat could prove to be Polish Off, who is begining to look well handicapped having raced off a mark as high as 88 last year and can run here off a mark some 27lb lower.
