Verdict

Having already won a four-year-old chase this season on heavy ground, French recruit Cathodine Cayras is interesting receiving every conceivable allowance as is useful bumper and hurdler Foildubh on his chasing debut. Nakajima Nate jumped like an old hand on his chasing bow at Tramore and can only improve though the experience of Dr Whizz, who won a Punchestown handicap in May, may prove too much for him. DE VALIRA gained his first success in four years when beating Blazing Beacon at Listowel but has always had plenty of ability. He was having just his second start over fences that day and, as the runner-up has won since, he is taken to follow-up.
