In depth

Verdict

MUTAMALEQ attempted to make all over today's trip at Tipperary last month but found Jembatt much too strong and easily succumbed with 2f still to go. Dermot Weld puts the blinkers on him tonight and he may just have enough pace to see off the attentions of Green Art. Kevin Prendergast's son of Dubai Destination looked a sure-fire future winner when a close second to Bright Horizon over 1m2f at the Curragh last month but didn't have the speed to cope with Bea Remembered over a mile on a return visit earlier this month. Red Sparky was totally unfancied on his debut at Fairyhouse at the beginning of the month but ran an excellent race behind School Holidays and will have come on for the experience. Roicead finished a couple of lengths behind that day but should also have benefited from the run and Jessica Harrington's superbly bred son of Giant's Causeway is definitely one to keep an eye on.
