Verdict

Dont Back Down is up 7lb for his recent win at Punchestown and will find life much tougher in this better company. Johannisberger is also facing stiffer competition after landing a beginners' chase at Down Royal last time and JETSON will need to step up on his recent disappointing effort behind Rathlin, who runs in the previous race. However, Jessica Harrington's smart hurdler is having only his fifth start over fences and gets a chance to prove his latest running all wrong. Liberty Counsel never figured at Punchestown on the back of her shock win in the Irish Grand National in April but Golden Kite posted a better effort over timber last time and could go well along with Playtime Ben and Our Victoria.
