        Verdict

        None of these set the pulse racing but COSMIC HALO should have come on for her seasonal debut at Redcar last month. Her second at Ayr last August is arguably the best piece of form on offer and a repeat should see her go close in this company. Star Deal failed to improve on his debut effort when a well beaten third at Hamilton last time but Running Reef's sixth at the same track demonstrated some progress and he may be thereabouts. Go On Gilbert had Alpha Arion behind when sixth at Beverley recently and could prove best of the rest.
