Verdict

After showing improved form last time it might be worth taking a chance on veteran THE TATLING so we will in the sprint handicap in preference to Wicked Wilma and Sir Louis. The selection owes the game nothing but is still displaying enthusiasm for the sport as shown with his close up fourth at Leicester on start number 135. He's well below his last winning mark and over his optimum trip he has every chance. Wicked Wilma has shown a couple of improved performances since returning this season. She'll need to show more again with the assessor adding to her load but she has gone close off comparable weights in the past. Sir Louis hails from a yard in form and won well on his return to action. He made a decent fist of it under a penalty last time and he is unexposed enough to improve further. La Capriosa has won three of her last four starts but has it all to do from a career high rating so in a tight looking race The Tatling looks well treated and can score.
