In depth

Verdict

Traprain has failed to progress from a promising debut run at Lingfield and disappointed on the Polytrack last time so may be best watched now, with preference for Los Organos, who gets the vote over Onyergo. The last mentioned tackles a distance beyond a mile for the first time and should improve for the longer trip but needs to if he is to get the better of the selection. Mr Majestic ran better at Pontefract last time but was well held behind an easy winner, while Versify showed little sign of ability on her debut at Lingfield. The vote then goes to Peter Chapple-Hyam's Los Organos, who was highly tried on her second start as a juvenile and ran better, at a more realistic level, when a close third behind the progressive Banba here on her reappearance. With further improvement anticipated, Los Organos looks the one to be on.
